Nice.. Live in Dallas/Fort Worth myself. San Antonio is a launch point for some of my trips, driving into Acuna Mexico.. a perk is to schedule the flights so you drive back into San Antonio grab a hotel for the night and fly out in the morning… many nice evenings spent around the Alamo and River Walk…

One of the biggest surprises when I started going to Mexico for business about a decade ago…. Woolworth still exists in Mexico. They were in every place I visited. Woolworth Mexicana was started by the original F.W. Woolworth company, and they spun off as an independent company in 1997. Still a strong discount retailer there.

Thing is, they really aren’t issues here either. Even in my very conservative circles those are not the issues. It is just that the politicians make them issues to sew a divide that really doesn’t exist.

I agree…. of all the retailers that have struggled and gone, Sears is the one I lament. And it is all due to poor management. They were the one stop, before Walmart was everywhere. They were Amazon before the internet was a thing. If it wasn’t in the store, it was in the catalog. They should have weathered the challenges launched at them from the competition. But, they were left to languish and died.

The big problem with that argument, is that Joe’s documents were from when he was VP…NOT President. He was not authorized to have them from the start. Trumps actions are borderline at best as well… but what all this has shown, is they all do it apparently.

@Pablo…. well said. It is the unique genius that created our democratic republic. As with all government, it was created by the wealthy elite of the time. But the beauty of our constitution and government, was born of a fear that an elite group would seize power. Our system of equal representation among the states was just one of many checks put in place.

I’m aligned politically with the right, and even Mr. Trump said that this crosses the line during an interview with Hannity. I am paraphrasing, but he said that we must always respect the office of the president. And Trump is the king of cheap shots… Mr. Kelley do better.
