Thank you @NJ Maryanne and to all who have been following our comic. Henry and I are deeply moved and grateful for all the kind and supportive comments. Yes, we stopped the comic in 2015. We wish we could have continued, but with fewer and fewer people reading newspapers, it became difficult economically to make it work. One correction on the information that Maryanne provided is the address of the website – our correct one is www.carlamillerart.com. Thank you to all for your kind words. Our very best, Carla and Henry
Gasp!!! I can’t believe that Henry and I made that mistake! Not to mention that it got past our editor at the time! So sorry about that to all the “Roman Holiday” fans – and I’m one of them!
Hi @annabanana, the timing is coincidental. GoComics is in charge of re-running the strips and I do not manage that aspect. That said, had I remembered (it’s been several years!) that this strip was due to run today, I would have still let it run. It was part of the story then, and therefore I believe it should remain unchanged.
Hi everyone, since there was so much discussion here, just wanted to note that this comic we did was originally created in 2012, before his presidency. Thanks for reading! :)
Wow, thanks, @tornadoprevention! Actually, I WAS one of the Six Chix cartoonists, but I left in ’08 when I got really busy juggling On a Claire Day and my other work for Recycled Paper Greetings (now part of American Greetings).
