When Olivia Jaimes took over, it took me some time to get used to what I originally considered less than great artwork. I’ve adjusted to that, and I now admire the artwork as just being different. The character of Nancy has changed drastically though. She used to be this loveable mischievous little girl with some self-confidence issues. Now she seems like an almost obnoxious self-centered brat. Maybe drastic is too strong a word, but you get the idea, I think. The one good thing is that there are still some characters that are even less likeable. Don’t get me wrong, I still like the strip and continue to enjoy it. I just miss the older strips writing style and artwork.
