I’m not arguing that. But again, the dissent didn’t change the Federal law so his response doesn’t negate my comment. I don’t know why he asked me to read it – I already had and it’s not relevant to what I posted.

And Geezer replies with something that does nothing to negate what I posted. Half of my family had/have clearances and know exactly what the federal law on marijuana is. Yes, if the Feds wanted to do this now, they really could.

Only in certain states. It’s still federally illegal. The Feds could come and do this exact same thing right now.

Greenman is referring to the Steppenwolf song Monster written by John Kay and referenced by bryan42:

“Once the religious, the hunted and wearyChasing the promise of freedom and hopeCame to this country to build a new visionFar from the reaches of Kingdom and pope…….

…..America, where are you now? Don’t you care about your sons and daughters. America, we need you now. We can’t fight alone against a monster."

A very appropriate song for now. And now I can’t get that song out of my head.

Unbelievable. Even Mitch voted against him and you know he has to bad for Mitch to do that. How scared of Trump are all the Repugs that they would vote him in? What has Trump got over them?

What’s to celebrate? He just made home ownership more expensive, raised the prices of prescriptions for seniors on Medicare, disabled the NIH and made us all much less safe by pardoning cop beaters and killers, thereby sending the message that one can get away with murder so long as they kiss the ring. Anyone celebrating is an idiot.

But was his mom a citizen at the time? I don’t know the answer to that. I know my parents weren’t yet citizens when I was born in the USA. Oh well, he can then kick me to Canada.

    Heck no!

And I suspect that the Five Eyes, will in practice be the Four Eyes, not trusting the US with important information.
