I get much more out of your posts than you realize, or are willing to acknowledge. I am right, and you are well aware that what I am posting is not character assassination in the least, but is simply a truth. One that you are aware of and are very vehemently trying to deny. Besides, the truth that you are trying to deny does not amount to character assassination anyway. I don’t care one way or another if a person here has advance knowledge of upcoming strips. I only care if that knowledge is then used in a coy “I know something you don’t know” sort of way in the forums. That is irritating. In any case, the more you post, the more that what I explained above is obvious.
You probably don’t even realize that your post was largely nonsensical. There is a world of difference between a legitimate “plot twist” and what is described here.
When I read this, it has a very strong feeling of being thought up recently. I get the extremely strong impression that Ann did not come into being as Leslie’s mother; that this “revelation” was just created very recently. It is a “diabolus ex machina,” as I called it Friday, and it is just too thrown-together, manufactured, concocted, contrived to ring with any semblance of believability for me.
“Fiction” only means that this is not a real-life story. It does not absolve the author of the responsibility to create a believable story. Rex Morgan is also fiction, but in your eyes is apparently more believable than this contrived setup.
I am merely commenting on the truth, and you know it. Stop pretending otherwise.
