   I have been a single parent. I worked & put myself through college. I also paid for childcare & sacrificed pursuing my dream career until my child was older and didn’t need as much care. Jonah could absolutely get a regular job, stop auditioning for roles that take him out of town and commit to making Shannon a priority. No one is doing him or Shannon any favors by enabling his bad parenting.

   I will laugh and laugh if Quill goes to see Pru (at Luann’s house) and Luann is out having that life. Seems likely since she’s clearly fed up with the version where she makes time for Quill and not for anything else. Bets that the trip becomes her wedding present to Brad?

   Luann does have a life. She’s in school, working (at her actual job and at the Fuze), and helping out with babysitting. All she wants is for Quill to make time for her like she does for him.

   This has been my problem with this story all along. Quill is supposed to think Luann wants too much time and attention, but he & Pru just love being in the middle of her life. It’s so bizarre.

   If Quill doesn’t want to break up he’s sure doing a bang up job of missing the point. I thought the whole point of his conversation with Gunther was for him to realize that Luann was right to be jealous of his relationship with Pru so he could either dial that back or break up with Luann & pursue Pru. This no decision version is just bizarre.

   Nope, he & Pru stayed after the show to clean up. No reason to do it on Xmas day at all. I said he’s been breaking dates recently 2-3 that I noticed. They’ve only had 2 or 3 scheduled that we’ve seen. He failed to be available for any of them.

   She won with her last effort for that project, but we saw her trying out different things for an assignment that wasn’t exactly concrete. She has never stopped working at the afterschool program. And no, it’s not uncommon for college sophomores to have undeclared majors. That’s the point of gen ed requirements. You take them to get ready for a career, you don’t have to have a career picked out.

   When Luann tells Quill “I know we’re both busy but I still want us to have some time together” does he ever think “Oh hey, this is my girlfriend and I want to keep her, maybe I should actually participate in this relationship?”

   Exactly. Gunther & Quill rarely talk about classes or work when they’re together. They talk about their love lives (or lack thereof) and not much else

    I don’t know. We’ve seen her in class, working with kids & helping out her family members. She’s actually been pretty exemplary for a young adult IMO. Imperfect sure, but not remotely the lazy boy obsessed harridan others seem to be seeing.
