   I have an “within canon” reasoning. Aaron moved to Hawai’i, perhaps the beach lifestyle has bleached his formerly light brown hair? Oh wait, he’s only in Luann’s mind now so she’d have to know that. Still.

   Oh, I read it that way too. Tiff’s “you do?” is clearly implying that Bets is that type too type too, that will just take over…as she did, barging into the room without asking Tiffany if she wanted help.

   Thank you for the English lesson, but I am very clear on what “literally” means and I meant it when I wrote it. The panels started with “literally” the same base with the modifications I mentioned. Another person pointed out the teacher’s mouth, and I figured out the music notes for myself. Thank you for trying to point out that you think I need better writing skills, but when I wrote that I did “literally” think that the panels were the same. You’d me more accurate criticizing my observation skills, which I believe are really the issue here.

   Yesterday’s first panel, and today’s first and second panel, are literally identical, except for the drawing of the speech bulbs.

   Cell phones have been around since the early 1980’s. Widespread use of cellphones has been in existence for roughly the last 20 years. Smartphones have been ubiquitous for the last decade. This is not “new” technology—time has simply flown by fast for those who think so. Hope that means you were enjoying yourself!

   Fritzi will return! It’s been mentioned in comments on other days’ strips. The quote from Olivia Jaimes in the New York Times (4/23/18): “There may be more controversy coming to the strip for fans of Nancy’s aunt. ‘I was asked by my editors to hold off on using Fritzi for the first four weeks, since the last run ended with her getting married and she’s going to be single again in my run.’ Brace yourselves, readers!”
