Absolutely the right move. I had my daughter evaluated after I realized she was memorizing books that were read to her but struggled to read them herself. She went to a special class after school for her dyslexia and became an excellent and voracious reader.
I like “primulent”. Growing up my family used words that I didn’t realize weren’t real words until I was older. Now my adult children use them. I guess that’s how language changes.
Agreed. My Mom was named Karen and I’ve known a lot of other wonderul Karens. When I hear the name used this way it makes me sad.
