A couple of years ago I took a weekend trip out of town. I got checked in to my hotel, and a few hours later I received a text from my bank asking me if I had just made a couple of purchases totaling $900. Of course I hadn’t, but as a result I had to cancel the card and get a new one. It put a bit of a damper on my vacation but I was happy that the bank was quick to let me know and take action. Unfortunately they never did find out who made the charges.

I thought Al Batt was the King of Plugger Contributors?

As someone who collects vinyl records, I feel seen.

I was in the middle of my morning GoComics read when my router went out. I went and rebooted it, and when I logged back on to resume reading this comic was next in the queue. Kinda eerie.

You could always hate-read Crankshaft like a lot of us do, and make fun of the inept story arcs and keep a running tally of how often the characters have a smug expression each week.

Now if you’re really looking for a comic strip to rage-quit, I recommend Never Been Deader.

    STELLAN!!!

Rex Morgan, Mary Worth and Judge Parker are actually pretty fun to read and get a few unintentional laughs. I mean, they’ve managed to take a serious story arc involving school bullying and draw the characters to where they look middle-aged accountants instead of middle schoolers.

So I take it you were never a kid? You never tested the boundaries of what you could get away with when someone told you to do something?

When I was a kid one of my friends had a house with a carpeted bathroom. And it was shag carpeting. To be fair, though, it WAS the 1970s.

THAT was your takeaway from today’s strip?
