Years ago we got a jack russell rescue who ended up having another year of life (probably found after some major accident with unknown damage etc.). So here comes into our lives the little guy with very strongy paws [we learned]. One day a few days after his arrival, we went shopping and left our other two dogs and him alone missing their dinner time by a little, running late. For years and years our dogs were very good mannered and ate whenever we put their food bowls out. This day we walked into a ripped open big bag of dog food in the middle of the floor that had been unopened on the top of the fridge when we left. Someone told me that jack russells can jump straight up four feet from the floor. I get this day’s script. Paws can do alot, believe me.

I figured she did not want to create anything that would be more charming than the human characters. Also over the years in this strip remembering back, we looked to the words to entertain us more than the artwork. Perhaps that was her plan?

I love reading this script, over and over. Every time it’s like something new, ever fresh. Maybe not masterpiece level, but masterly done for sure, earning magnificent and marvelous ratings!

only 16 years to go! She should of just said, “OK, if you pay for it.” That might have gotten him to dash out the door.

He most likely resented the attention the other kid was getting.

This strip is so cool! Every time I go through it, something else is original and I get on edge forgetting what the comeback was. Something to look forward to, tomorrow. I believe this comic strip could rate as great art, I really do!

When Jan Eliot stopped doing the script, she shared with the readers that the youngest daughter, Holly’s sister, was actually herself Jan Eliot. We need Holly to enjoy the young sister’s comeback.

Hmmm…so that would leave the sister and mom to do the babysitting…most likely they are peeking out the window curtain holding their breath! They must enjoy helping Wally get used to having Alex in his life … haha.
