   This arc is awful. It should be called “What is the dumbest, most illogical thing that Tiff could do or say?… Continue to next panel.”. I’m sure that some out there enjoy it, as they apparently enjoy everything about the comic. I just don’t know why anyone would find making characters completely clueless entertaining.

   This is a regular rant point of mine. I mean, this could have been written for today’s Luann and it wouldn’t have seemed out of place at all. G & K just refuse to let Luann (and other) develop at all. Frankly, this really advertises their lack of creativity. They should actually be embarrassed to have posted a strip from 30 years ago that could be posted today. No growth by Luann at all. Luann needs someone else to run the show. So many character opportunities and, yet, they do nothing with them.

   Seriously, when did Brad revert back to being a complete moron? G&K, especially K, really seem to not pay attention to their own strip or think that all their readers are simpletons that find everything funny.

   I’d like to give G&K the benefit of the doubt that Brad is playing a prank and really is not this clueless, but G&K’s track record isn’t that good, recently. I mean, there is no issue with giving free gifts, as it shouldn’t be about the $$, but to announce in advance, if not actually brag, that you got everything for free? Sure, it is the thought that counts, but I’m just wondering how much actual thought is going on.

   Yup. G&K really should hand the comic off to someone that wants to develop the characters and are in touch with arc content that people will be interested in. Karen, especially, has done nothing to improve the comic. She seems mostly interested in making most of the characters, especially Luann, clueless. I just keep reading with the hope that they will figure it out.

   Ugh, why must G&K make Luann so incredibly dense??? “You’re telling me to save 3 lives instead of 1”? Seriously? Who would say that? There is nothing funny or witty there. Just more cluelessness. I wish G&K had more respect for their main character.
