If you want kids you know that will happen, so you replace that with being a parent. Not for everyone, but people who are arrogant enough to keep asking childless couples ‘when are you gonna have a baby" you also need understand that some people want kids but can’t have them and people without kids by choice need to stop commenting in general about how kids ruin their lives or freedom.

3 years ago, my friend’s ex-wife who had custody of their children and a boy about April’s age. She lost her temper one day and beat him to the point he was comatose for 6 weeks. he survived but is permanently brain damaged. She is serving 5-15 years in Sullivan County NY. She often spoke of her son the way people speak of April here. I got a call last week and the son, Peter, is not doing well, he does not recover from illness’s like normal people. He was hospitalized for the 4th time this year.
So forgive me but this subject is a very sore one with me.
