We have a total 4 trucks. 1 for garbage, 1 for paper & related recycling including metals, 1 for yard waste and 1 for glass. And they do it for the entire city.
Depends on where you live. We have 3 large cans available per week. One is for yard recycling ONLY. Yes, you are to put your tree in there, as long as the lid fully closes on it. So we put the tree in all the way (about 4’) and then cut off what is sticking out and shove it down the side. ALL that is in there gets taken to yard recycling and gets chewed into mulch.
