To clarify, antiquated Swordfish biplanes (yes biplanes, in WWII no less) were the aircraft in question. Said Swordfishes flew so slowly and so low that the AA guns/gunners of the Bismarck had difficulty hitting them. The plucky British pilots managed to score a lucky torpedo hit on the Bismarck’s rudder, leaving her unable to maneuver. The Bismarck was then attacked by a large surface fleet and sunk. Although the Bismarck took severe damage from the RN fleet, she may have been scuttled by her own crew in the end.
The Battle of the Coral Sea, the first naval engagement in which surface fleets did not ever see each other (between Japan and the US in 1942) was a much more significant testimony to the outclassing of the battleship.
In the book, Eowyn’s declaration causes the Rider to hesitate, but his mount charges anyway. The movie does away this and pointlessly reorders the dialogue.
Someone didn’t pay attention… Since that’s CLEARLY not Boba or Jango’s armor, it must belong to some random Mandalorian. And the Mandalorians were not… the Empire’s biggest fans.
Thank you, someone had to say it.
