Yep, I’m afraid that the “witness” of those who call themselves after Christ has chased seekers far away.
As far as I’m concerned, our only job is to love. We can do that w/o knowing anything about another person. To judge anyone else would be on partial information, mere appearances where (as I believe) God looks on the heart, knows our entire histories so knows WHY we are where we are and would be the best Person to do that. IME, that’s what the Holy Spirit is about. I accepted Christ (choice), the Holy Spirit came in and started me on a path of redemption – custom made for me from “Just As I Am”.
There’s no way to legislate this, so no way to make a Christian theocracy that is based in the true Christian experience. And I apologize on behalf of anyone claiming to be a believer who are hostile, menacing or just annoying. I don’t understand their motive – it can’t be to spread the Good News but rather to try to control the outward behavior of fellow citizens in a manner that makes THEM comfortable. The God I know isn’t into making His kids comfortable.
tip: if you don’t have a membership with a (store), use the phone number from the Jenny Song – 867 5309, with a local area code. Someone has registered it, it’s always worked.
I used to “own” one for Safeway and fully expected other people to use the points for gas discounts. I think most owners view it as a community card.
I learned by my short stature/arms and king size sheets just won’t do the job without a folding table. I get the pockets together, roll them up and stuff them in the matching pillow case. Along with the folded flat sheet. Looks great in the cupboard. I guess, don’t really care.
The rolling up idea came from Dr. Phil, when he was still okay and had one episode where traded jobs with his wife. I agreed with him that rolling up sheets makes more sense, can just roll them out on the bed. His wife laughed, not sure why.
there may be only 2 genders in the comprehension of the RIGHT, but there’s more than 2 genders LEFT.
