Maybe one day, enduring monthly cramps will become a competitive event, and the fans will yell from the sidelines ’Cramp on!"

And throw Midol and hot water bottles.

specifies the lie(s) please. Having to carry pregnancies already happening in red states, even when it endangers or kills a woman.Peter Thiel is/has been Vance’s backer, and in The Education of a Libertarian" said negative things about women “since 1920, the vast increase in welfare beneficiaries and the extension of the franchise to women — two constituencies that are notoriously tough for libertarians — have rendered the notion of “capitalist democracy” into an oxymoron.”

No one has a crystal ball to be SURE we’ll become a 3rd rate dictatorship but those of us who have bothered to learn a modicum of history see the pattern leading to it being repeated by trump and allies.

I have read stories of “strong” MAGA men taking the ballots of everyone of voting age living under their roof, marking them and mailing them in. And that group is the one who rants about the danger of mail in ballots?

It’s apocryphal of course, as I have no way of verifying those people reporting this are telling the truth.

Politicians have to be able to act, and speak in a practiced manner so actors have a leg up.

But it’s the VOTERS who need to use smarts instead of limbic brain responses to leadership. No one person is going to fix our lives just how we want, and if they did we’d never be challenged and evolve. We need to choose people who know their job is to serve, and not make their job so dam*ed dangerous and miserable by whining like toddlers when we don’t get everything just as WE want it.

Maybe then the smart people whose first priority is NOT power, might be willing to wade in.

The price for a happy relationship is the terrible pain of loss. I’m so glad you had 52 years of love, and wishing you grace through this rough patch ahead.

Back before Facebook, we’d run into an old classmate and get all excited, invite them for supper, and now I often wish I had NOT been found on FB by them – better the memory of who they were.

and there’s just too many to keep up with their lives. My graduating class was 84 kids, which is kind of like extended family and everyone knew each other. I’m sure the experience of a bigger school would not be the same.

    and his cult have gunz.

Whether or not they’re fired up enough to use them and willing to take the consequences that their fellow cultists experienced for Jan 6 it the question.

The speaker of those first words, Biff, was based on a certain orange cretin referenced here a few times

I’ve always preferred mechanical pencils (which I was surprised to find out pre-date the yellow ones). The lead refills seldom work, though, so they have a limited life. I’m pretty dedicated to re-using whatever I can and my best so far is using them to stake baby veggie plants.
