   Now is the time for him to start learning about being crafty, he can take classes or read books buy some basic tools and in a couple of years he should be able to build something. But he seems to like sitting on the couch watching tv, so its probably not going to happen. I started doing woodworking 35 years ago, the first couple of years I basically made sawdust, as I learned.

   Love my Epson Eco tank printer, saved a ton on ink and headaches. If the print speed is slow I don’t notice it at home.

   Contractor table saws can work well for woodworkers if used with a crosscut sled and other jigs. I’ve done some pretty intricate projects with an old 10 inch craftsman.

   These guys do work very hard I just received a large package from UPS at 10:20 p.m.. Where I work we get deliveries before noon and when they back up to our loading dock we can see that their vans are packed to the roof, especially this time of the year. They are also under a lot of stress because of management efficiency requirements. They are a very important part of the new economy.

   I recently went to read magazines at my local library in this beautiful lobby area they had set up with shelves full of periodicals all around. I had not done this in years and to my disappointment it was no longer there, so many magazines have folded and the ones that are left are a shadow of their former selves. Reading things on a phone is just not the same to me.

   I just had the neighborhood flock of wild turkeys in my yard yesterday, they stop by occasionally to clean up spilled seed under my bird feeders. I suggested to my wife that we should invite one in for supper, but she reminded me of her turkey allergy, and that I would be the only one partaking.

    The Bluey one is in the process of playing “Keepy Uppy” with the smaller red balloon. My 4 year old grand loves that episode and playing keepy uppy with her grandpa.
