After losing my sister last August, my father-in-law died in January- however, no close relationship, and he was nearly 102, so not a surprise… so your situation sounds really awful. :(
Yes, Keene sandals are so comfortable and wide enough for all toes and have that great toe protection “bumper” – I love them. Why were shoes ever pointed?? Feet don’t look like that… and why for that matter – or rather, how – high heels ?? I have never been able to stand in them much less walk!
