Only once. A former boss of mine (good employer) ordered a serving of them at an office dinner he held. Each single snail was doused in garlic and melted butter, and in separate little cups of a platter like a painter’s pallet. He offered, and on a dare to myself, I tried one (and I was the only employee who accepted). It was OK, I thought (but really not a ’ go-to ’ dish I would order for myself). … :)
