My father once knew a teacher that on the first day of each semester would hand out a test with the instructions to read the entire thing through before doing anything. The last line on the 5th page was do not put any marks on these papers and turn them in blank after 15 minutes for an A+, otherwise this will be graded an F. He did not count it of course but there was always lots of looks of confusion and terror when people started to turn them in, or when they got to the last line.
Lucky you live somewhere that solar panels are legal to own and install. I lived in a town that 2 years ago put a moratorium on all free standing installations of panels which was the recommended way to do it in that area due to the large amounts of snow that fell each winter. In fact I spoke to a few companies that refused to even give a quote on roof mounted panels in that area.
Not sure if it is still there now, but there is a town in New York that has a fork in the road, really where the road splits to go its two directions left or right at an angle not a T there is a 6 or 7 foot fork stuck prongs down between them.
One of my previous cats would come around for tuna if she felt like it, but if you were opening the freezer to take out ice cream she would be at your feet or closer if she could get it before being told to get off a table or counter. Anything else being taken out of the freezer and she was no where to be found.Oh and she did not always get part of the ice cream, the only time she did is if it was pure vanilla and then just enough to fit on the tip of a spoon.
I have had a CF Card survive a house fire. It was mounted in a desktop’s cardreader as a sync location for some work I was doing. Was able to pull off the data no problem think I may still have it around somewhere.
Now they are complaining that the school they are returning to is safer but feels like a jail with all the new security procedures. Though I have to laugh when they complain about the clear backpacks as they are not the first school to have that requirement as a school where I grew up required that over a decade ago,
