   One of the most disappointing aspects of the cancellations is that many of these students did not get to have a high school graduation ceremony due to COVID. At least some of the schools did virtual “announcement” ceremonies, but that little culminating moment? Never got it. And after four years of studying that these students PAID for? I’d be furious.

   Saw the fence and had to double-check! Dang it, I had just gotten started on This Fool. Loved Gentefied, which also got cancelled after 2 seasons.

   It took getting away from CFLs for me to abandon incandescents. I really miss being able to tell how bright the light will be just from the wattage, though. Too many light tone options and I need a watts-lumens conversion table.

   It says a lot more about the lack of quality in roles and performances from the men, that “Ken” got nominated.

   This makes so much more sense now. My local paper prints so badly, both Betty and Herb are just dark blobs.

   Watched a baby have a tantrum, fussing and screaming, not for Momma or Gramma, but for the phone. It was sickening.

   Weremanse was actually a pretty good idea, just not thought out and executed thoroughly. People in many college towns rent “storage space” in their garages and extra rooms during the summer to students.

    My old doctor’s office used to do this, in a fashion. They would book four appointments at the same time, and I guess they used a lottery system to decide who actually got to be seen at the actual time of the appointment, while everyone else had to wait.

    This being the reason for my new doctor – where the staff books properly and I never have to wait more than 5 minutes to be seen.
