Fried provolone tastes a lot like bacon. It gets brown and crispy. We make PLT’s a lot. Got the recipe about 50 years ago on a Hugh Downs show for old folks. I think the show was called “Over Easy”, but not sure (‘cause I’m old). Use a non-stick pan and don’t turn over until the bottom is brown and it holds together.Thank me later :)
