I honestly think he’s somewhat metaphorical. We all have our weak spots that pull on us (a person, an addiction, a need that we never seem to address, etc.) – that hits when we least expect it and then we shake our heads at ourselves for how easily we AGAIN got caught up. It’s the comics, so Leon is made pretty obvious, but most of our demons come with much better camouflage and more subtle and insidious approaches.
They’re both actually raising good points. Afghanistan was and continues to be a disaster (points awarded for consistency I guess over this many decades) but the CIA’s history gives Havoc no room to judge.
It’s always the quiet ones you have to watch out for :-)
