Maybe he’s like my mom. She didn’t purchase to get more, it wasn’t about having stuff, but as a child of the Depression she couldn’t stand to throw anything away.
I. Hate. AOL. I work for a nonprofit and people DO want our email blasts. AOL constantly bounces them. And not to be age-ist (I myself am retirement age) but the majority of those who still have AOL do not understand how to white list or even add the address to their contacts.
I always laugh at that new name for crafting because it was the term for going to the bathroom at a childhood friend’s home. I.e., “Did you make while you were in the bathroom?”
The last family trip I went on I was a very self righteous 16. Up until my mid-twenties I thought about how awful my parents were on that trip. Then upon mature reflection I realized their great self control in not leaving me on the side of the road to fend for myself.
Or if politics would get the h out of the classroom and let teachers teach.
