    So, it’s a moving target, literally, where a referee, who is running also, is trying to judge where several running people and a flying ball are at a given instant? Don’t get me wrong, I like soccer, but it is a bit imprecise. Hockey seems a lot more straight forward. If any of your team crosses the blue line before the puck, offsides.

    Did some work on the USS Constitution years ago. Saw the Captain’s head. It’s a blister sticking off the side of the stern with a seat and a hole directly to the sea. And very low headroom.

    Around here it’s the concrete (pet peeve of a guy I once worked for, cement is an ingredient of concrete) trucks who can’t see. One tried to drive over a covered bridge. 80 ton truck on a 3 ton bridge. It was lucky, though, since it was also over height and smashed into the roof structure before it could fall in the river.
