I babysat for a family of 4, the youngest two still in diapers, every Friday and Saturday night from the age of 13 until I was 18 and left home. It was $5/night. Once I turned 16 and could drive, the parents would take a week off during the summer and leave the kids with me. They were wonderful people and great kids. Not only did I have spending money, but I had a great excuse not to go out on weekends spending money.
Y’all can have your new cars, I plan on repairing my old ones as long as I can. My newest car is a 2004 Mustang with over 289K miles on it. I will drive it until it dies. I will then probably make my 1970 Challenger my daily driver. At least I can fix it myself.
Not a bowtie, but the ribbon tying the hooded cape on. I can tell y’all weren’t hoping for a fairy godmother to rescue you when you were a kid. Spoiler alert: they don’t.
I have an absolutely wonderful GP and making an appointment is a piece of cake. He will spend as much time as you want and answer any and all questions. There is never an extra charge for a “separate visit”, although if additional testing other than bloodwork needs to be done, there may be a charge for that excluding the annual mammogram and ultrasound in the abdominal area.
Although I am obviously a cat person, I do like dogs but I rather like the bigger dogs. My favorite is the German Shepherd. We always had dogs growing up but no cats, my mother didn’t like them. Like any animal, us included, their temperaments and personalities are all so different.
Slaw is pretty much the only way I will eat cabbage. Like spinach, I like it raw and will eat it that way but once you cook it, no thank you. I can’t stand the taste or texture of either cooked (or any greens for that matter). I am the same way with most fruit. Raw = okay, cooked = nasty.
While I do love raw spinach, preferably with cranberries, walnuts, and balsamic vinaigrette, too much of a good thing is also not good for you.
