IDK what Frazz thinks, but here’s a guess: We should use real cups and wash them in situations where that is practical, and save disposables for situations where re-using the cups is not practical.
If Mr. Spaetzle buys coffee from the same drive-up window every day on his way to work, he can get in the habit of brining a re-usable mug, thus saving hundreds of paper cups a year—and keeping his coffee hot for longer, because the re-usable mug is better insulated. That’s practical and reasonably convenient.
It is not practical to pass out re-usable cups to runners mid-marathon. Different situations call for different practices.
That nun cat is Angora and Princess’s mother, Snowbelle, who did not actually die in the helicopter crash. She had been pressured into marrying Snowball, but had always really loved Father O’Kittery. When she married Snowball, he went into the priesthood, because there could never be another woman cat for him.
