funny final panel for me. I was evacuating from a forest fire. Had moved everything precious to a safe place and decided this would be a good time for a road trip. Last minute I remembered I had left the portraits of my daughters on the wall. Snagged them and put them in the back seat. A week later I was crossing from Montana to Canada. the border guard was suspicous that a random tourist would have portraits in the car. The rest is history. They were nice and it ended well but it sure wasn’t a quick crossing.
when will the arc about Toni’s daydream of having raised the perfect child ever end. ?? If you are a parent, it’s boring … been there dreamed that .. and if you are not a parent, you don’t care
I know it’s just a comic strip, but the whole arc is headed for a mess. IRL if the dad is asking for more than “baby sitting” Toni and Brad will have to get a sitter for when they are both at work and the legal stuff about being able to get medical care in an emergency and and and. It’s all about upheaval and lawyers and doesn’t belong in a comic strip
I am so frustrated with this arc and how long it is pointlessly dragging on. If this were Real Life someone would notice that Luann is Funny, Creative (a writer) and has great connectivity with kids (teaching experience). Build a brand on that, darn it. All this surface crap they are proposing is just that … crap.
