My first job paid $1.25 an hour. When I got a summer job working for the post office through civil service I had it made—it paid $2.32 an hour. Of course, tuition, fees, and room and board for college was only $8,000 for all four years. And that was out-of-state tuition.
It’s not quite over yet. They can ask the entire D.C. Circuit to reconsider the panel decision. They would need 6 of 11 votes. Or they could appeal to SCOTUS, but that is stacked against them.
And doctors on medical malpractice juries? Hard enough to find an expert witness willing to state the opinion that another doc’s treatment did not meet the standard of care. A jury full of docs would bring back a verdict for the defendant every time.
Or 400 years.
