   Florrie, likely to play along. Chaos level, already at 11, breaks the gauge. Whatsername, the former hotel maid with the husband and kids… assuming she isn’t pregnant which if I remember the time jump span is possible, would if there seemed a decent reason especially as the family probably agrees Sid is great for Harry and his part in adventures have probably been described to her. The family has probably compared H&S to the grandparents when H isn’t around. Nicki would need to have a physical threat not “I’m lying to my folks”

   Stability. Oh, right, that is the thing possible when not in a crossover episode. Or your team’s introductory story. Or…

   The detective may be the most missing. Harry is unreachable but generally near the Anchor. Mal is within a radius based on when he left, and avoiding wizards. Ben and Gren will be known to have disappeared in the time of the talk, and when expecting the client. And that they were the least likely to take a pleasant walk together in the connection.

   My devices turn off notifications from like 9 PM to 8 AM or something. Idk, set it a long time ago and other than if i open the device in that time it telling me notifications are off i don’t have to think about it. So I don’t. If one of 2 people texts or calls it will go through but waddya know, they are people who would only call if they needed me to do the next of kin routine in the hospital or something like that.

   Wizards. Sid or Ben could manage it. Now, we only saw the former do it in canon (his first day with Harry) but in the unlikely event that Ben ended up in such a state (obviously kidnapped by the bad guys or a hunter who somehow misread something worse than “well he has the bracelet so must be an actual purposeful thief” or something) he’d put together magic and something his cousin showed him once or something.

   Mario will appreciate her effort. I can see him (in his human form) taking them to work, lending them to patients. Trading them out so something new is there to look at for the patient. Talking to them about Emmie when they ask where he got them and they need distraction and are short of breath. How she picked them out for him during a time she was working so hard to be independent and he was balancing what help he should offer. Or a dozen other things.

   I am literally a degree holding historian and usually there is an excuse. Hoover got dozens of spots out of famine, downturns, etc before serving as POTUS when the rules just broke everywhere because the systems had changed. Sure, if you don’t know plague is coming from mice fleas and cannot imagine epidemiology sure, you get a bye on the cat thing. Your empire is falling and no one knows entertaining the masses didn’t work in Rome because you are Rome. Cities that just are archeological lumps as they didn’t know that wells need aquifers they were using too much.The grace we give so many is not being earned now.

   Usually fosters have to jump through extra hoops to adopt because the hope is to not have people like pretend to foster to get first dibs on good dogs. Prove x chances for other adoptions happened and unusual bond and whatever.

    More importantly, Sid had never presumed. Someone who wasn’t going to tell the world he was meanly “friend zoned” if it turned out that friendly behavior was taken as friendship and sex was not forthcoming. He probably met her family and, while distracting the kids with magic, had hopes that someday they might call him “uncle Sid” when he was just doing tricks without Harry and her sister dividing protective duties of the line elsewhere, but he’d have done the tricks for any kid. He likes people smiling. They had left with a hint that each might have Feelings to discuss. Being there without the talk, the negotiations, anything more than several statements that he is the dog’s, hmm, guardian? Emergency contact? Anyway, trusted with the dog Originally trained by her brotherWho pulled her out of danger several times in-canonThat dog… “How is this going to work?” Is in both of their minds and without knowing those talks happened seeing stereotypical romance stuff did not compute. The first were possible. The wedding? No.
