   Speaking as a small business owner, you can find people who are reliable and willing to work, but they usually already have jobs. In my area, most of the available people think they should get paid for nothing and don’t want to work the hours you need. That’s why we just work it ourselves and call family if necessary. I do have to say that I have a great guy who works part time… He’s a retired professional.

   Sadly, this might not be a case of he doesn’t care as much as he isn’t concerned. Sometimes else will take care of her. They’ll watch her. His own intents are just more important than his responsibility. This coming from one of the many grandparents raising their grandchild… It’s all in the order of importance, and she’s just not high on the list.But to play devil’s advocate, how long has it been since he last dropped her off?

   Having adult children, you do want to rescue them like you could when they were small. The trick is not teaching them it’s ok to stumble, but teaching yourself it’s OK to let them.
