Wikipedia has a decent article on ocean acidification. You should read it. The pH of the world’s oceans has dropped 0.1 points since the start of the industrial revolution, a 29% increase in acidity. It is expected to drop at least 0.3 points before the end of this century. The rate of decrease is unprecedented in the planet’s geologic history meaning life cannot adapt quickly enough to survive. So yes, the oceans are dying except that some kind of slime will probably live on. Enjoy your tuna while you can.
