Then there are those who like the “elegance” of light gray type on a dark gray background.

“I expected the comic to have a different “look” to it,”

It turned into a completely different strip. The only thing remaining from the original is some of the characters’ names. It completely lost the joy and imagination of the original. It no longer has any real “heart”.

“Heart of the City changed artists and style”

More than that, the entire flavor, premise and character motivations changed. The only thing that was the same was the characters’ names. A completely different strip without the “heart” of the original.

The most expensive item in my wardrobe is my hat (suede leather, wide brim, Aussie style). Nothing else over $50 and most under $30.

I’ve worn Lee jeans since I was kid. My father was a salesman in a men’s store that sold them.

“Get the beam out of your eye before you complain about the speck in someone else’s eye.”

That is meant for a person to apply to themselves. Anyone who uses it to tell others what to do does not understand Jesus.

    “a convicted felon”

Jesus was also a “convicted felon”

Not that Trump is Jesus (though the lying left will claim I said that) but that being a “convicted felon” becasue you stand up to and threaten the corruption of those in power is a badge of honor, not disrepute.

“I’ve seen some of your previous comments. You have no right to criticize anyone else.”

So telling the truth in the face of your and “croc’s” lies means he’s lost some rights?

Hang in there, my good man. Note that the croc’s (what a appropriate screen name for this comic) go to response is insults. I had one commenter claim that “croc” is provoked but the provocation is seldom anything other than stating the truth in the face of his lies and insults.
