   A resident of our condo association came by asking for signatures on a petition about some offending windows thing. I told her that a petition was the wrong approach. Instead she, I and one other like minded resident ran for the board with a campaign involving a letter sent to all residents. We were elected and found (as I had known beforehand) that the board had been under the thumb of one authoritarian individual. It was necessary to have three of us on the ballot so that individual had no chance of being re-elected.

   Amazon has several versions. Not that the original is in German so anything in English is a translation.

   My uncle gave me a copy of the originals for Christmas when I was 8 or 9. I was surprised at how different hey were from the “children’s” book versions. Most surprising was how different the endings are. The original tales are seldom as happy as Disney or the childrens’ versions.

    Or Amazon or Barnes and Noble. Barnes and Noble is certain to have any anti-Trump or LGBQ++??… book you might want. Just don’t look there for any of the classics the left finds offensive.
