   back in my much younger days, the school lunches were often Pork (or pork products). Being Jewish, I couldn’t eat that, and “carry” lunches were awful to be charitable. “We” talked the school board into providing alternate choices, rather like the Catholic kids got “meatless” choices on Friday.

   Same cheese-loaded tomato soup (rather like melted red crayons – looked like ’em, and similar taste). Cheese sandwiches tasted like lard, and probably were…. Mid-week, and likely to make you too sick to attend the rest of the week.

   Not bad stuff for folks from the Aadams Family. Otherwise AARGH…. Told mom to keep her mouth shut – they’d find something worse.

   It is said that archaeologists found a package of Hostess Twinkies while evaluating King Tut’s Tomb.

   They were still good….

   Not news…. My baby is 32, and drives a car that’s better than mine…. (She also has a job.)

   No idea what happened, but Rita’s a lot better looking since I started regularly reading this comic a couple years back. I’ll vote against the “infinite loop”.
