Surely not in a baseball metaphor?

Repeat after me Biden was Commander In Chief. He had 8 months to do something and he didn’t. Biden, (much to his shame in my opinion) took immediate action on the border, cancelling Trump’s plan. Why didn’t he do that in Afghanistan?

Or just look for the Blue on the election map.

Figure out all the divided by percentages all you want. No one gets ahead with the government spending much more than it take in. Taxes and Governmental income need to match Expenditures. Lower the spending or increase the taxes or do a combination of both. And no hocus pocus where they make some changes and a paid mouthpiece goes to Congress and tells them how this will all be better in 10-20-30 years. Do it now, balance the budget. Remember what your Mom told you when it came time to take off the band-aid. Rip it off and it hurts less than pulling it off slowly. I’m willing to pay more taxes and receive fewer benefits if we fix this and fix it permanently. But politicians have no spines so rant all you want. Nothing will get done.

From my standpoint each decade get I get a little more achy. But once you reconcile yourself to your limitations things are just fine. So instead of working in the yard all afternoon, I break up the chores into shorter segments. A 20 minute power nap along the way helps too.

In fact compared to my peers, I’m more than just fine. A lot of it is attitude. Be happy where you are.
