Having lived in a very wet wooded area..fleas were always around..kitties never went out but occassionaly they hitched a ride in on our shoes..all the kitties got bathed in regular Dawn dish soap worked great..Sadly one of our Bengals is allergic to flea bites…she licked herself bald..became neurotic over cleaning.had to keep her in Onesees and soft e- collars for almost a year…
We always tell our oldest kitty(17)she’s in charge and tell the youngest(The Kid/Ajax)not to totally tear up the house and to mind his elders…if we are gone all day…theres always paper confetti and other damage and not a guilty kitty to be seen.
We put up a gate at the top of our steep stairs to keep the puppy(long grown up now)from falling down the stairs…our Motley Crew Kitties pole vaulted over it then claw/climbed down n up the stair guard rail…Amazing feat for our furry felines
