I had two 20-packs of Scott 1000-sheet rolls in my garage (good sales price plus coupons) in late 2019. By spring 2020, I was really glad. While people were panicking, grocery store shelves were empty, and some doofus on eBay was offering single sheets for 10 cents each, I knew I’d be able to wipe my butt for years to come.

Actually, it is PA’s lieutenant governor John Fetterman who is trying to get TX’s lieutenant governor Dan Patrick to live up to his pledge. As with many politicians, especially those in the party of Trump, a pledge means nothing unless it supports their beliefs.

@rekaycel – I though that was from “How Can You Be in Two Places at Once When You’re Not Anywhere at All”.

@LoneDog – You’re right. Ben Franklin said something along the lines of: “Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy.” (A family member gave me the T-shirt.) And my feeling is that if you claim to not like beer, you just haven’t tried a sufficient number of them to find one you do like – the variety of styles and flavors is enormous. Think about bread – not everyone likes Rye, pumpernickel, or plain white bread, but most everybody likes some kind of bread – even if they can’t eat it. (By the way, there are some very good gluten-free beers available too.)

Sorry, but 20C is 68 degrees in the Fahrenheit scale, which is a reasonable room temperature.
