Couldn’t agree more. Sometimes it’s the only one I read when I visit Go Comics.

Totally get wanting to know where everybody is. We do a head count prior to departure. Four cats and two dogs. Takes a minute, but it relieves all the stress on Household Six. Happy wife, happy life.

Nicely played, Nyck. I am SO using that next time DW complains about the girls and their propensity to shed.

I think you’re on to something, HD. I was kinda thinking the first panel was Red’s dad courting his future wife which led to Red and inexorably to Rover.

Amen, Miss Olive. A word’s meaning (nor its pronunciation) should not be changed just because a few knuckleheads can’t say it properly or use it correctly in a sentence. No offense meant to you, Miss Megan. From time to time we all make these kinds of errors. My alarm is due to the ‘official’ change to the pronunciation or spelling or definition of a word solely because a number of people make the same mistake.

“A government big enough to give you everything you want is a government big enough to take away everything that you have.” This quote is often attributed to TJ. Don’t know if that’s so, but the sentiment is spot on, in my estimation. Clearly, there is a natural (and constitutional) role the federal government should play. It must not, however, be allowed to usurp the mandated and fundamental role that states and individual citizens must play.

We got one of each. Little one (40 pounder) loves any kind of wet. Snow, rain, mud, lake, ocean. Big dog looks out the window, sees a few drops of water on the porch and goes and curls up on the couch.
