   Once, a long time ago, I too was an optimistic idealist. Now, I am old and jaded but still hopeful, although I don’t believe just voting them out works. It takes LOTS OF MONEY once they are ensconced.

   The dumbing down of America started with the public school systems continuingly changing the basic reading, writing and arithmetic curriculum. Learn the basics, realize your potential and move forward from there. Pick a Gen Z or Millennial – ask a simple history or math question – most don’t have a correct answer. It is heartbreaking how stupid society has become.

    Agree. Unfortunately that cult is becoming larger and I attribute it to the dumbing down of America, which has been going on for too long.
