Woodstock never had good balance. Must be why he can’t fly straight either. His head is too big. Throws him off center. Ha!

Welfare should be a safety net, not a way of life. Go get a job instead of crying about how unfair it is that mommy won’t buy you the latest video game.

Actually Lupin, I have been to Somalia, and many other African countries while delivering food aid for the better part of 15 years. I am not saying we shouldn’t have government. But the Government should exist for certain common needs, and to promote the ENVIRONMENT in which people can pursue their dreams and goals. National defense, civil order, support for trade and the economy and opportunities. But I don’t think the Government should provide everything a person thinks they should have. Individuals need goals to strive for. If someone else fulfills their needs, they loose motivation. If a government takes from the successful to give to the unmotivated, those who would be successful in turn loose their motivation. This is what kills heavily socialist and communist economies. And this is why capitalism, as imperfect as it is, does work well. That’s why this country grew and succeeded so well in the first couple of hundred years. Most people here sought opportunity to work for what they needed, never expecting to be given anything.

But I still say all this is a little deep for a discussion about a comic strip.

Just because someone doesn’t agree with you, doesn’t mean they are"evil". If you want a government to take care of your every need, go to North Korea. Conservatives have compassion, but some still believe that a person should be responsible for their own lives. Why do people want to hand over their lives to any government? This country was founded on the principle of people having the freedom to pursue happiness – not on the notion that we should tax some so others can reap the benefits without working for it. I grew up believing that if I wanted good food, shelter, and medical care, I should work hard, get an education and work harder in my career. And it worked. And by the way, this is a comic strip… let’s not take this so seriously. Enjoy the laugh for what it is.

Why are you people fact-checking a comic strip? It’s a joke, not a history lesson. Good grief Charlie Brown!!!
