   I don’t read the comments every day, but I know that there’s a frequent poster who writes punny tags for most of the strips. Sadly, I don’t (yet) see that.

   BUT! Harkening back to the Blazing Saddles ref, and also (trying to be) punny:

   “The Renaissance was 300 years before Balzac was born!” “That’s okay, now we can sue him for infringement!”

   or maybe

   ‘Balzac’? I thought you said ‘Ball sack’!

   Yeah, that was DEFINITELY not Les. I wanna say his name was Eldon…but a quick check of the Wiki shows that was “Elwood.”

   Also, I’m sure Tiff would remember the guy who gave her her first starring movie role! :-)

   @EnigmaForever: I think @Namrepus was going for “…when you fell from Heaven?”

   But something to bear in mind is that, although the pick-up line has been around for ages, Tiff has only been commanding male presence in a serious fashion, for a few years (both real and comic timeline). So, she may not have heard every line in the book yet. :-)
