Subtlety of French usage I was taught in French class: you use the infinitive instead of the imperative in a formal, polite setting. Using “entrer” is like saying, “would you like to enter”. But I doubt that Tiff would bother to use it, if she even knew. AND the two words sound the same.
My buzzkill-explainer compulsion compels me to set the record straight about this project. March 25-26, Tiff says that the school project is for a “concept” and she has no intention of actually starting the business. It’s Bet’s idea – and offer of money – to actually hold the event.
So the actual prototype implementation wasn’t part of the project or the paper.
