I was always taught that it had to do with the amount. if a person gets a little fingerful/spoonful of raw batter, unless they are allergic or something there should be no problem, now if they tried to do what Garfield is doing…yeah.
Our doggos are shameless beggars, and 3/4 are pretty content to lick fingers (although they certainly wouldn’t complain about more). 1/4 hops up on the back of a nearby recliner and if she could, she might prove dangerous to any unsupervised food. All are horribly spoiled.
In Jon’s defense, some of those treats look and smell pretty darn close to their human counterparts so it’s hard to know at first glance if there isn’t a specific “treat box or jar” to let you know.
Thanks for the comments, they are doing fairly well, one of them seems a bit clingier than she used to be, but they don’t seem to be in terrible pain or anything.
