   I’m having a hard time understanding why Bernice even thinks it’s her business? I get that, when she thought Luann might be hanging out with Jack, there was jealousy involved. But when she realized it was Tara, she overreacted . Tara’s not her concern. Tara doesn’t go to Mooney U anymore. It’s not up to Bernice who Luann is friends with. It doesn’t even matter that Tara & Luann are in Fuse when it’s closed or that Tara has stayed overnight in The Fuse—that’s between Luann and her parents when it comes to light. So, Bernice, what is fueling this? Is this going to be a lesson for Bernice in boundaries?

   I’d like to see Baldo being promoted to assistant manager. I’d also like to see him working on his car more often.

   Bring back Brad & Toni. And let Luann grow up the way Brad did—she’s just as aimless now as when she was in high school.

   when is Tiffany going to say “Enough!” in this story arc. She pays for her own college education, she doesn’t live at home, and she has no illusions about Ann. If it’s because of her dad, let that go—it’s a hard lesson but essential. If you’re not getting nurtured, find a family will will nurture you.

   That’s a heartbreaking moment. When I read this panel, all I could think was “oh, sad.”

   Baldo’s got a car now, but we never see him working on it. We don’t see him taking an auto repair class in school. He’s just stuck in early adolescence, but this strip could explore the possibilities and still retain its readers.

   My 16 year old goddaughter wants to learn how to work on cars. We gave her our 1995 Ford F150 to learn on. Maybe Baldo can find a really cheap project rig?

   I think Capricorn9th hit the nail on the head. That was my interpretation of the surprised look on Ann’s face in the last panel.
