@shaunnmunn Cats require meat for a specific amino acid, which they cannot manufacture on their own. If someone requires a vegetarian pet, they might consider a bunny. I’m by no means an expert, but I can’t imagine Buddhists would hold cats to vegetarian standards, which would kill them. Something in that cycle seems un-Zen.
I do remember hearing that purring helps broken bones mend more quickly. Something to do with the frequency of the vibrations. It was on some kind of special cat program on Animal Planet that had several episodes for one season maybe five years ago.
Carpeted floors are most preferable to cats for regurgitations of any kind. My cats in the kitchen or bathroom will start gagging and move to the tiny rug in the room before letting go.
I agree with you Gent. I sent them my feedback and was advised the user experience is better if I use the site as they intend. I understand it is a free site, which I appreciate. The annoyance is not going to stop me from viewing BCN. However, I’m not sure why annoying people who click ads is part of their intended user experience.
Looking at it after you mentioned it, I still couldn’t see it… Until I scrolled down the page enough I could only see the bottom half of his mouth, and there it was!
I adopted my two cats on 9/11 a few years ago. It’s nice to have a positive memory associated with a date that has so many sad ones.
