   While it might be a nice altruistic gesture on her part to provide monetary compensation to a cause she seems to care about, she’s under no legal obligation to do so. Perhaps she compensated those friends and family who inspired her path with the Lawrence character. Personally, I found her revelations about Lawrence jarring and inauthentic. It seemed to be based on a whim of hers rather than solid character development. She might have been better off to have created an entirely new character if she wanted to make such a point.

   She’s not being overly aggressive here. It’s nice to see them both looking so happy. About time something GOOD happened for Luann.

   I’m beginning to think they kind of do! They are different in some ways but that’s ok. I’m sort of liking them together. As for Quill, he was a high school romance. They were far too young to become physically involved. Luann is now 19 and in college. Her friend, Gunther is already in a physical relationship with his girlfriend, Bets. Tiffany appears ready to take the leap with Kip if given the opportunity. Life and the times are changing for Luann and her friends. Even Bernice is exploring her feelings these days. I think The Evanses are handling this in a good and positive way.

   She often made fun of John but also Elly, as well. She’s always drawing her own character with a little belly or wrinkles, etc.

   She has the right, as an artist, to write a piece on events or people that inspired her, without any obligation to pay anything to any organization or people. Lynn isn’t the nicest person in the world but, (as he has proven) neither is Rod. Both were human beings with issues going through a marriage with many problems. But no one can deny she is a talented cartoonist and part of being that is relying on the people and the life that surrounds us for inspiration. You are allowed to take inspiration from your life and the people in it without having to compensate anyone or anything simply because it inspired said inspiration. If that were not true no one would write or create anything.

   You can’t copyright or trademark someone’s life——so no compensation pay is necessary. All artists take their inspiration from those around them. You can’t copyright your life!

    Love at first sight. Rare, but it happens. My husband and I both knew early on, even before our first date. Took us 3 years to get married due to school and family obligations but have been happy ever since!
