No fines. The country should take everything they own and give everything to the citizens they have harmed: bank accounts, cars, real property, everything. Then they can start serving their sentences. After they’ve served their time, they all will wear ankle monitors until 80 years old.
A national referendum might hi-lite the advantage of allowing the original 13 secessionist states to leave the union. They’ve been a drain on the rest of the country since the Civil War and their disgusting insistence on clinging to “states rights” and the ‘America first’ cover-up of their Fascists’ leanings would soon be fully exposed.
