Credit for that silliness goes to Peggy Parish, the creator of a children’s book series about a maid named Amelia Bedelia. Amelia took her employers’ directions quite literally. I’ve never forgotten how she drew the drapes in the parlor. She didn’t understand why her employer wanted a picture of curtains, but by golly, she produced it! And don’t get me started on how she dusted furniture or put out the lights. ;-)
Hi, Gloria! Are you using a mouse? Asking bc I have my laptop on a lapdesk and use the extra space beside the computer for mousing. Just can’t master the touchpad.
About a month ago, I experienced what may be similar – the cursor began drifting down the screen as I typed, yet the mouse was not moving; also, the cursor would not move into the very top of the screen, either with the mouse or the touchpad.
New batteries did not help, so I bought a new mouse, and the cursor has behaved perfectly for several weeks now.
I hope Santa leaves an overflowing picanic basket for you!
