They said there would be a pool in our new school. But, Oops, we for got the cafeteria in our design. :( SO, no pool, but, a very interesting cafeteria with a sunken eating area. And the rest was amazing. :)
I had a border collie cross and it was obvious he had a fairly large vocabulary. We had a friends child visiting one day. The child was chasing the young cat. The dog put himself between them, and seemed to lecturing the both of them. The child on pointy kitten claws, and the cat on the inadvisability of using claws on the child. The funny part was both seemed to be listening to him. LOL Cat was used to standing her ground again dog, so dog had lost of experience.
We have to call them “evil rodents” when our Grand-dog is around. He is large golden lab cross, and has almost dislocated my arm, on occasion, when an “evil rodent” shows up. LOL The halter is the best, he behaves so much better when he is wearing it. and I don’t worry about hurting his neck. (PS: he gets lots of off leash, ball chasing, when appropriate.)
Student Bus pass, for regular bus routes, like an adult taking a bus, they get to choose the time. This comic isn’t set in a rural area. In rural areas the choice of busses would be more limited.
Children are vectors. Every September when the kids went back to school (after everyone traveling all summer) the whole house hold would come down the colds or something. This would be repeated after every holiday, every year, schools are petri dishes. And the grandchildren have continued the tradition. Until the last 2 years. And children do get hospitalized.
I liked kindergarten and most of grade one, then family moved. It is hard to be the new kid. (there were a few moves) I liked aspects of school. But, being introvert and a loner …..
I walked 5 km to school. didn’t like the kids on the bus and it was a nice walk.
