   There were news stories some months back that some police departments were beginning to regret recommending homeowners get door bell cameras. People were simply reporting too many false alarms wasting a lot of the department’s time.

   Many cities stopped collecting leaves a good many years ago. Overfilled and tightly bound plastic garbage bags containing leaves can break the hydraulics of garbage trucks when the trucks compress the loads. We were living in a rural area then and I read about the problem in a Twin Cities newspaper. I wondered why people did not just burn the leaves like we did; it took me another cup of coffee to realize that burning just maybe, just might be an problematic issue in urban areas too.

   True. And I imagine he is supposed to be a biker—motorcycle rider; I think he would be very alert on the streets and careful about traffic safety.
