Okay, I know this is a comic strip, but Luann really reminds me of myself, an ADHD chick. My house is a mess and I went through a couple of majors and several careers, until I finally found joy working in tourism and theatre (professional and amateur). I hope she finds as supportive a partner as my Beloved.(Gawd, I’m rooting for a fictional character…smdh)
Absolutely! There will always be folks who find Smiley a bit slimy, but he’s great with Shannon and is probably keeping the Fuse afloat. Aside from Jack (yeah, I’m one of them), he’s prolly my fave. I’d love to see TJ get his own story arc again.
Great Sunday strip! Oh, waitaminute…Actually, Sunday ’s actual strip seemed like the beginning of a new arc and I was looking forward to it.
I’m getting irritated by this Failure to Launch Luann, which is a shame because I really like her character. But she doesn’t seem to have much of a life, or at least one we get to see.
Gen Z-ers generally don’t watch much television news and I daresay few see much local news online. But those who do (most likely, Gunther and Bernice…yeah, where is she?) will spread the word. Plus, parents of those students and her fellow classmates will share her heroics. As a Luann DeGroot fan, it pleases me to imagine those parents saying, “Why can’t you be like that Luann?”. :)
Please, oh please, transfer this girl to Mooney…or any university with a dorm. Now I didn’t always love dorm life but it taught me a lot and I could get pizza fairly regularly!
Ohmysweetlord, it’s a holiday miracle - Stef isn’t making my buttocks clench in rage! Maybe it’s temporary, but I do prefer her as simply ditsy as opposed to be-atchy.
